Etiquette

Please follow The One Rule of Campo: be friendly and do not ignore people. Introduce yourself to people you don't know, greet the ones you do. If you see someone who is alone and not sure how to connect, please go over and make them feel welcome.

Campoverde is a place to connect and make friends, so we ask that you be polite, respectful and friendly to everybody. Help us create a safe, classy place for you to chill.

We ask that you respect personal space. It may seem formal for Vancouver, but we encourage you to shake hands when you meet, or "air kiss" cheek to cheek. Please do not touch women unless you know they are comfortable with that having kind of contact with you. Anyone who persists in making unwanted advances will be politely asked to leave.

Attire: Our dress code is dressy casual in the evenings, unless we are having a more formal event or a costume party. Please no jeans, shorts or tennis shoes in the evenings, although these are okay for lunchtime.

Drinks: It is considered polite to buy drinks in rounds. When you get up and go to the bar, please ask others in your group if they would like a drink too.

Lively conversation on important topics is a great thing but we ask that you avoid confronting people, or dwelling on topics that make them uncomfortable. In general, please stay away from negative comments.
